Chris Kerr

Chief Executive Officer

Chris brings over 30 years of progressive business experience in both the IT and Asset Finance sectors.

Chris co-founded Assetlinx Capital in 2005 which now forms part of Contract Capital. Through marketing and management positions with IBM Global Finance, Dell Financial Services, AT&T Capital and SHL Financial Services he has expertise in structuring large transaction asset based finance programs.

Robert Howe

Chief Operating Officer

Robert is a seasoned international financial services executive with over 25 years of senior level management experience shared between the asset finance sector and corporate turnaround and growth consulting.

He spent most of his corporate career with AT&T Capital / Newcourt Credit Group and was Managing Director of the Continental European business which supported 16 countries, 150 staff with owned and managed assets exceeding $1 billion.

Paul J. Crath, JD

Corporate Development & Counsel

Paul has 20 years of experience as principal investor, merchant banking, mergers and acquisition executive, and financier.

He also specializes in legal and strategic advisory to family investors, boards and owners of growth companies in various sectors, as well as to fund management companies. He has a Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, Toronto and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Karen Fox

VP Credit

Karen is a risk and credit analyst with more than 20 years’ experience in diverse industrial and financial environments.

Career highlights include positions as Structuring Manager at GE Capital Solutions and Senior Credit analyst at GE’s IT Solutions group. Karen has been instrumental in the success of Assetlinx Capital, maintaining credit losses at less than 0.5%. Karen’s background includes a BA from Queen’s University and LL.B from the University of Toronto and FCI courses from the Canadian Institute of Credit & Financial Management.

Raj Natarajan

VP Finance

Raj has over 10 years of professional experience with the last 4.5 years in Investment Banking with 4Front Capital Partners.

Raj has led the analysis and financial modelling in support of 4Front’s transactions. Raj holds an MBA from Rotman School of Mngmt, an Undergraduate Degree in Electronics Engineering and is currently pursuing his CFA.

Gerald P. McCarvill

Senior Advisor and Board Member

Gerry is a veteran of the Canadian mining and financial services industry. He was part of the original investment group and served as a member of the board of directors that developed and financed Consolidated Thompson Iron Ore Corporation from an entry valuation of $2 million to its 2011 sale to Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. for $4.9 billion.

He has extensive experience in the origination and execution of global mining and energy private equity and finance transactions. His career spans more than 30 years in the financial sector where he has held senior positions with major investment firms including CIBC Wood Gundy.

Arthur Spector

Senior Advisor and Board Member

Mr. Spector has over 40 years experience in the banking, finance and venture capital industries.

He founded several finance and leasing companies and served as Chairman/CEO of two banks. Mr. Spector has been the CEO of several public companies, has served as the Managing Director of TL Ventures, then Philadelphia's largest venture firm and was the Founder/Managing Director of Safeguard International, a private equity fund.

Robert Keith

Senior Advisor

Mr. Keith’s career comprises over 20 years in commercial banking culminating in serving as Vice Chairman of The Fidelity Bank, a leading regional bank in Philadelphia.

He continued his banking career as Lead Director of Square 1 Bank. Mr. Keith then founded and managed a series of venture capital funds, including TL Ventures, a $1.5 billion fund in Philadelphia. He has served on the boards of a number of venture and technology firms.

Alan Surtees

Senior Advisor and Board Member

Prior to co-founding Assetlinx Capital, Alan was the President of Rider Computer Services LTD., a company he started in 1988.

Rider provided the processing and remarketing expertise for various leasing companies thereby maximizing their return on residual investments. By the time Alan stepped down as the President, Rider had grown to be the largest processor of off lease equipment in Canada.
